When I am not planning road trips that never happen or dreaming of Berlin(ale), I enjoy discovering how Earth Observation data together with Artificial Intelligence can make our planet a better place to live. I am a recent graduate of the Delft University of Technology with a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering, track Geoscience and Remote Sensing and solid engineering background in Geoinformation and Surveying. I strongly believe that the future of Geodesy is the continuous monitoring and real-time processing of almost everything around us. Hence, I am always keen to discover new measuring techniques (satellite- or land-based), process and interpret geodata varying from satellite/aerial images and point clouds to GPS signals and other interesting weather/environmental data. Last but not least that always challenged me is to explain and justify the relevance of remote-sensing in our modern societies; by finding creative and meaningful ways to assist engineering projects related to infrastructure or support the urban planning, agriculture and water management domain.
