Amal Khatri is a professional registered Engineer. He has more than 20 years’ experience in programme management, operations, business consulting, research, technology strategy and innovation. Amal has joined the South African National Space Agency and is responsible for strategically positioning the South African Space programme to meet broader economic and social goals for South Africa through Space technology. He currently manages Space operations, Space Science, Earth observation and Satelllite Engineering divisions. He is passionate about technology and strategy, with key focus on using innovation as a driver to meet business challenges. He Hold both a BSc Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and MBA through the University of the Witwatersrand.
