Timothy, since 2016 – Present, currently works for Barrios Technology as a Robotics Analyst for the International Space Station's (ISS) Program Office, at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. Timothy also serves in the Air Force Reserves from 2013 – Present, as a traditional reservist as a Technical Sergeant in the Electrical Power Production Supervisor role, at Lackland AFB San Antonio. He has completed one tour in Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait in 2020 where he served as the Night Shift lead, maintaining power to much of the US and host nation facilities. Furthermore, Timothy served in the Air Force Active Duty component from 2007 – 2013 as a Aircraft Armament Systems maintainer, at Nellis AFB Las Vegas. Timothy was awarded an Achievement Medal in 2010 for his services providing Military Honors to veterans and their spouses.
Timothy studied at the University of Houston's Sasakawa International Center for Space Architecture (SICSA), from 2017 – 2020, where he earned a MS in Space Architecture. His thesis, Attainable Artificial Gravity & Space Radiation Protection Solutions For Interplanetary Spaceships, focused on integrating feasible design solutions for artificial gravity and radiation protection into human-rated spacecraft for use in deep space missions. Timothy studied at Purdue University, from 2013 – 2015, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, a minor in Astronomy and also earned a Certificate in Entrepreneurship. Timothy was also the webmaster for the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) as well as the structural design and fabrication contributor to the Students Physics Society (SPS) high altitude space balloon project.
His future goals are to work on the research, development and deployment of advanced spaceship systems, enabling human space colonization.
