Your responsibilities

• Part of the project for the scope of automation system hardware engineering, manufacturing and procurement support, system integration, testing, installation supervision & commissioning at site.
• Carry out Automation System Engineering, cable engineering integration, system testing and installation supervision and commissioning at customer site.
• Ensure the engineering workflow is adhered and project is executed as per the Quality Management System.
• Support in preparing detailed Automation System Configuration comprising of all design details of the architecture.
• Detail out the motor & component list/load list/instrument list and prepare I/O list for entire scope.
• Prepare I/O groupings based on guidelines and process sectioning.
• Prepare complete list of hardware and software for the project.
• Work of Automation configurator (Wizard tool) to prepare BOM for automation hardware.
• Prepare technical specification for all third-party components, PC hardware, network components, instrumentation/ special sensors & special cables.
• Support project manager in getting all the hardware’s procured as per BOM. Involve in technical discussions to clear queries if any with the vendor.
• Work on hardware design of automation panels using automated tools like EBASE.
• Prepare test specifications for hardware testing and carry out exhaustive internal functional testing of panels as per specification. Take up FAT activities with end customer and ensure technical closure.
• Work on complete plant engineering regarding field I/O allocation, field side JB grouping, control cable allocation and generating field schematics, control cable schedules, JB list through EBASE tool.
• Take up installation supervision of entire automation system at site.
• Commissioning of automation system from hardware point of view.

Your background

• Minimum B. Tech/ B.E/ Diploma from a reputed University with First Class in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience Automation system hardware engineering & independently handling areas of projects end-to-end.
• Experience in automation system engineering and commissioning.
• Experience in PLC/DCS systems.
• Experience in networking components and PC hardware.
• Experience in Engineering tools like EBASE/EPLAN/E3.
• Experience in field sensors.
• Knowledge of ACAD & Visio software.
