• Adapt an appropriate image capture system to be able to carry out measurements, detections or characterizations in environments constrained by the presence of vibrations, variable illumination, the complexity of the installation and the normative context
• Qualify the methods for be able to guarantee measurement uncertainties or the probability of detections, taking into account the variability of the environment
• Develop and automate video processing in order to reduce human intervention, pool tools and reduce the time between the test and the provision of processed data
• Monitor available market and research innovations in the fields of geometric image processing and deep learning
• Analyze and qualify customer needs to choose the most appropriate acquisition equipment and measurement method.
• Develop new methods for measuring displacement, deformation or vibration based on different approaches: deflectometry, beam adjustment, image correlation, structured light, for example.
• Design and development of new uses cases
• Participation in Agile ceremonies
• Prioritize customer requests
• Validate new measurement methods in the laboratory or by simulation (propagation of uncertainty or Monte-Carlo).
• Coordinate regular checks of measurement tools: geometric calibration of sensors, calibration of references used in photogrammetry.
• Develop new methods for detecting and characterizing surface defects: coordinate the collection and annotation of input data, set up processing validation metrics, develop data augmentation or synthesis techniques to balance the learning sets, choose the most suitable learning patterns.
• Provide support to the teams that implement the measurement methods on the ground and flight tests, which carry out the data processing.
• Carry out the supervision and technical monitoring of studies or subcontracted activities,
• Participate in the creation and management of projects related to image processing
• Ensure coordination between stakeholders: IT, data scientist, measurement users, purchases
• Some business trips are sometimes necessary, therefore, you must be prepared to travel accordingly.

Are you our future talent?

• You are an engineer in computer science, applied mathematics and more particularly in image processing, with a major in high schools or universities.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in image processing.
• You have solid knowledge in geometric measurement based on image processing, in trigonometry and vision in space, in uncertainty estimation, either by analytical propagation or by simulation (Monte-Carlo) and in the field of supervised and unsupervised learning applied to image processing (in ML and DL). You have a level of negotiation in French and English, experience with Python and C/C++ programming languages ​​and project management and supervision skills
• You have good communication skills and the ability to present complex technical topics to key business stakeholders in a compelling manner
• You are rigorous with an eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving solutions and technologies
• You know how to demonstrate autonomy with the ability to listen actively and take pragmatic initiatives.
