The propulsion system integrator engineers ensure the proper functioning and functional interaction of the propulsion system, its components and associated systems.

By joining our team, you will work in the research and development phases of AIRBUS ZEROe Aircraft projects and thus help pave the way for more environmentally friendly aviation.

Your activities will focus on propulsion by combustion of hydrogen for demonstration purposes on the one hand and future products on the other.

The main tasks and responsibilities of the propulsion system integration team (hydrogen combustion) that you will integrate are as follows:

  • Integration
    • the engine and its systems
    • the platform and its systems
    • fire prevention, detection and protection systems
  • Coordination of activities with engine / nacellist partners and other AIRBUS teams, on topics such as:
    • Fuel system and propulsion system architectures
    • Drainage / purge
    • Integration of electrical systems
    • NOx emissions & condensation trails
  • Coordination of the specification activities of the propulsion system and its components (V&V Plan, Cascade of requirements, DDCD, SID development, etc.)
  • Coordination of requirements and design validation as well as the propulsion system and demonstrator verification strategy.
  • Collection and rationalization of test needs (components, systems, ground and flight) AIRBUS, engine manufacturers, nacellists and suppliers
  • Development and coordination of the strategy and execution of the tests of the propulsion system and its components (engine, nacelle, mast, systems and aerostructures) as well as its fuel system and associated control systems

You have the following qualities and experiences:

  • You are an Aeronautical Engineer, trained at the Grandes Ecoles or Universities.
  • You know AIRBUS civil aircraft (A320, A330; A340, A350, A380,…) and more particularly the propulsion system.
  • You are autonomous, curious, rigorous, good communicator, motivated and proactive.
  • You know how to work under pressure.
  • You are endowed with writing, analytical, synthesis and leadership qualities.
  • You are able to work on several topics in parallel and organize your work to meet the different milestones.
  • You have a good critical mind.
  • Those around you describe you as open-minded and dynamic.
  • Knowledge of hydrogen would be a plus.
  • English: advanced level
