With the aim of strengthening our team, we are looking for:

Systems Engineer – Electro Optical Payload

  • The resource will work in support of the Systems Engineering team of the Electro-optical Payload area, and will deal with the definition of the requirements of the systems, the modeling and simulation activities and the preparation of the test equipment of the same.


  • The candidate has a five-year degree in Information Technology, Electronics or Telecommunications.
    Obtaining a PhD is a plus.


  • Ability to model physical phenomena related to electro-optical instrumentation (flight or laboratory);
  • Ability to develop SW simulators in Matlab (or Python) environment;
  • Ability to analyze and process data and images;
  • Familiarity with the management of requirements and their declination towards subsystems;
  • Basic knowledge of optics;
  • Basic electronics knowledge.

Nice to have:

  • Ability to sizing / performance analysis of electro-optical instruments;
  • Knowledge of the principles of Remote Sensing;
  • Knowledge of the operating principle of optoelectronic devices (CCD, CMOS, photodiodes, MCT…);
  • Laboratory experience in the integration, testing and calibration of EO instrumentation;
  • PhD in the field relevant to the position.
