Apogee is seeking a Project Manager, Senior to work in support of the US Coast Guard CG-9335 Program Management Office, Moorestown Detachment in Moorestown, NJ.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for service delivery by contractor team of approximately 13 staff providing Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) technical engineering services
  • Serve as single Point of Contact with customer, including the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and respond to requests for discussion or resolution within 2 hours of notification during business hours
  • Review and update Integrated Government Schedules utilizing MS Project.
  • Assist with the creation and management of Project Management Plans.
  • Create and/or update Risk Management matrices and status tracking sheets.
  • Identify and analyze issues that may affect the performance of the C4ISR systems, the on-time delivery or repair of system capability and estimated cost.
  • Review reports for engineering services, laboratory systems and performance, and C4ISR systems for accuracy, completeness in compliance with the requirements and free from errors and duplication.
  • Review status reports of contracts and recommend actions.
  • Review contract invoices and provide assessments and recommendations.
  • Draft technical reports regarding cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Prepare and deliver briefing packages and presentations.
  • Assist with Basis of Estimate reviews to support technical proposal evaluations.
  • Track and report Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) status as required.
  • Support COR in inspecting and accepting completed work procured via other contracts.
  • Support COR in review of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Material Inspection and
  • Receiving Report (DD Form 250), Certificate of Conformance (COC), and applicable artifacts.

What you’ll need:

  • Security Clearance Required: Secret
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years’ of relevant experience providing Project
  • Management experience in support of C4ISR systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possess Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • US Coast Guard and/or US military operational background and experience.
  • Highly skilled communicator (both oral and written) and strong command of MS Office tools
  • Ability to lead multi-functional team, identify and resolve risks, and ensure staff meet deadlines with highest quality service
  • Capability to perform periodic CONUS and OCONUS travel.


  • Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with a HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military and jury duty paid leaves.  Regular part time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.
