What you will be doing:

  • Support 15 AF as an expert on AFFOR systems and procedures in Configuration Review Board (CRB)
  • Enterprise management review (EMR), Engineering configuration working group (ECWG),
  • Requirements Working Group (RWG) and Sustainment working group (SWG), and Functional
  • Analysis Working Group (FAWG).
  • Collect, prioritize, and assess operational needs from 15 AF staff and subordinate units and AFFOR entities (e.g. USAFE, PACAF, AFSOUTH, AFCENT, etc.) for advocacy with Enterprise Change
  • Working Group and Requirements Working Group. Maintain a copy of current and accurate prioritized listing of outstanding Enterprise Change Requests against the AFFOR program.
  • Solicit inputs from 15 AF and its units and provide impacts of deficiencies discovered during testing or operations for consolidation into a recommended 15 AF position on upgrades while carrying deficiencies.
  • Provide 15 AF inputs to ACC to all Enterprise Change Requests (ECRs) and maintain expertise on the management system that tracks changes.
  • Conduct strategic and operational assessments in support of 15 AF missions; and/or develop & provide measures of performance, measures of effectiveness, and indicators for assessment, in coordination with the Site Lead.

What you will need to have:

  • Security clearance required: Secret
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field with 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of experience test and evaluation policies and instruction preferred.
  • 2 years of experience of systems acquisition management preferred.
  • 2 years of experience with Air Force and/or Joint C2 systems that interface with the Theater Air
  • Control System (TACS) or sister service equivalence (Army Command Post systems).
  • Familiarity with Air Force C2 programs, like C2IMERA and C2IE.
