Apogee Engineering is seeking a Joint Operations Logistics Planner  supporting Air Combat Command (ACC) Rear Mission Support Element (15th AF RMSE) division at Shaw AFB, SC. This position will assist and advise the 15th AF/A4 Director on JTF processes and procedures as they relate to preparing and establishing a JTF J4 Staff and a Joint Logistics Operations Cell.

What you will be doing:

  • Sign-on Bonus/Relocation Assistance up to $5000 based on experience level and location.
  • Assist and advise the 15th AF/A4 Director on JTF processes and procedures as they relate to preparing and establishing a JTF J4 Staff and a Joint Logistics Operations Cell.
  • Perform as Lead Contractor to advise and assist JTF J4 staff with Pre-deployment Site Survey (PDSS) when directed.
  • Assist and advise 15th AF/A4 on exercise planning for logistics capabilities to include creation of a logistics support plan and “Annex D Logistics and Contracting” portions of operational plans.
  • Coordinate with ARC forces to ensure requirements are properly identified and personnel are properly resourced with mobility gear and transportation requirements to JTF operational locations.
  • Assist in organizing synchronization and TPFDD events in support of JTF operations.
  • Capture, identify, and disseminate logistics, training, and operational requirements necessary to ensure deploying forces transition seamlessly.
  • Create, and update as required, training curriculum and provide instruction in JTF logistics functions.
  • Provide instruction in accordance with the Government-provided syllabus. Train JTF personnel regarding current and predicted operational environments, missions, and requirements.
  • Support approximately 6 classes per year with a notional class size of 40 personnel.
  • Provide functional logistics expertise in JTF and/or Command and Control operations to include force bed-down, JTF types and composition, manpower issues, and fielding issues.

What you’ll need:

  • Secret security clearance OR must be eligible for an Interim Secret security clearance
  • 5 years of joint logistics operations within a Joint or Combined Staff
  • 2 years of joint logistics operations within a Joint or Combined Staff
  • 2 years of experience in the JOPP
  • 1 year of experience within a ground maneuver staff and/or Special Operations Forces
  • 1 year of experience working in a Joint Logistics Operations Cell (JLOC)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
