Executive management


Reporting to the Head of Institutional Relations, and under the supervision of the latter, the apprentice will participate in the analysis of Company files relating to its positioning and status. She/He will support the other members of the General Management team, in particular the Office of the President, in the external communication of the President, as well as in the planning and implementation of relations with French institutional partners (elected officials, administration , other competent government bodies in France and abroad). She/He will also support the actions carried out for European agencies and institutional partners. Finally, she/he will represent the Company in meetings in which she is involved (GIFAS, COSPACE, MEDEF, etc.).

As such, the institutional affairs apprentice will be more particularly responsible for:

  • Prepare high-level communication for launches and participate in the link between General Management and the Communication Department, as well as with the Marketing Department;
  • To participate in the definition of the strategy and the production of content for the external communication of the Chairman;
  • To guarantee the assurance of the support provided by European institutions and governments to the space transport industry and to Arianespace in particular;
    • to participate in defining, coordinating and implementing the Company’s policy with European institutions and governments,
    • to lead the relevant analyzes for these purposes and to carry out the synthesis of the files with a view to their promotion to the various required bodies and institutional actors,
    • to participate in the Company’s policy in terms of international relations, when it involves the European institutional and governmental component.
  • To represent the Company in respect of the powers set out above within the appropriate bodies and forums, as well as during specific events.


1 or 2 year apprenticeship contract

  • Student at an Institute of Political Studies or a postgraduate university (French or European) in a Political and/or Legal Science course;
  • A first professional experience in Public Affairs, with politicians or within the Administration is desirable; a link with the space domain is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of the environment and the associated European actors;
  • Mandatory fluency in English and optional fluency in a second language from one of the ESA Member States;
  • Ability to integrate into the Company, to work in a team as well as with collaborators from other departments;
  • Writing and interpersonal skills.
