ARQUIMEA RESEARCH CENTER is hiring a postdoctoral researcher in the field of quantum sensing (theory and experiment) to work in nuclear magnetic resonance sensing on NV and SiC platforms. Expertise on other areas of quantum information and quantum technologies will also be evaluated.

Tasks to be performed

• Research on novel quantum control schemes for robust spin-dynamics (theory and experiment)
• Research on optimal quantum control
• Experience in the field of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in the nanoscale
• Hyperpolarization
• Nitrogen vacancy platforms
• SiC platforms

Required skills, experience and candidate profile

• PhD on Physics/Engineering in quantum sensing or related area.
• Experience the simulation, design and implementation of quantum control.
• Proficient in matlab, phython.
• Open minded and ready to be challenged with multi-disciplinary R&D projects.
