The Electronics System Design Engineer is responsible for taking a leading role in architecting a cutting edge wireless system for the space environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define and manage complex multi-disciplinary system requirements for internal RnD and sub-contractors.
- Creatively lead complex tradeoff analysis with high-profile multi-disciplinary team.
- Define and manage the system requirements, through design reviews, verification, and validation process.
- Design methods and architectures using calibration, pre-distortion, compression, PA linearization and other mechanisms to optimize wireless systems.
- Define control procedure and telemetry to achieve robust and efficient system in space environment.
- Work with best-in-class dynamic RnD, to create a technology breakthrough in an immerging market.
Minimum Requirements:
- BSc in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years’ experience in designing wireless systems, including hands on lab testing and integration.
- Deep knowledge in wireless communication systems and their elements (beam forming, channel estimation, MIMO, coding theory etc.)
- Knowledge in digital signal processing related algorithms like DPD/CFR, canceller, DFE, etc.
- Experience in cellular systems development to meet 3gpp requirements will be an advantage.
- Experience in system level circuit modelling with EDA tools, SPICE, MATLAB or Python.
- Knowledge in wireless communication protocols: 5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM will be a plus
- Creative and with ability to drive good ideas to successful implementation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
