Job Description

Manage sites, set up and monitor action plans to:

  • Optimize the rate of availability of resources (means, human)
  • Optimize storage spaces and workstations
  • Optimize physical and IT flows (internal, incoming, outgoing) of the platform
  • Reduce lead time by simplifying tasks, reducing travel and smoothing operations
  • Ensure compliance with storage and handling conditions for components while respecting standards and qualitative and safety rules , handlers and ergonomics
  • Formalize the standards, the operating methods and train the appropriate resources in order to sustain the results obtained
  • Involve end users very early on in projects in order to encourage their support
  • Encourage and coordinate the deployment of good practices implemented in the various operational units
  • Build and feed a budget tracking file and expenses relating to all the actions that will be carried out as part of the mission
  • Prepare the HSE documents necessary to guarantee compliance and the safety of people and property
  • Alert his line manager or the HSE correspondent within his scope in the event of an incident
  • Participate with the various stakeholders and the HSE correspondent of its scope to the assessment of risks at workstations
  • Be the PRAP actor of its scope
  • Carry out the ergonomic assessment of workstations
  • Develop an action plan to remove or reduce the risks associated with physical activity by involving the various stakeholders (Area Manager, HSE Correspondent)
  • Conduct the budget analysis and validate the investments with his line manager
  • Manage the action plan and regularly communicate the progress
  • Ensure a technological watch in order to be aware of new trends and solutions in his field

Complementary Description

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of store logistics
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (5S, SMED, VSM, …)
  • Good knowledge of the Supply Chain process
  • Mastery of ERP (M3 and QAD MFG PRO will be a plus)
  • Mastery of BI and Microsoft tools (SQL query, Excel VBA)
  • Mastery of 3D modeling tools (Knowledge of SketchUp will be a plus).
