ICT Architecture Administrator

The ICT Architecture Administrator will work in the Information & Communication Technology department, reporting directly to the Head of the Architecture, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity area, and will be responsible for:

Managing hardware, basic software, and configuration of data center systems (physical servers, virtual servers, NAS, SAN, appliances, etc.) in the company’s three data centers to ensure availability, performance, and security. Managing the hardware and software assets of the data centers. Managing SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud services (e.g., Microsoft O365, Azure, etc.), acting directly as a system administrator (where possible) or referring to the technical structures of the providers according to their engagement processes. Managing and utilizing support contracts with external vendors related to the managed area, monitoring their SLAs and performance. Monitoring the health status of data center systems. Performing periodic operational checks on data center systems (e.g., backup status, anti-malware status, etc.). Performing periodic compliance checks (e.g., administrative account status, license consumption, etc.). Performing capacity management checks to anticipate any potential issues well in advance. Monitoring the End of Support dates for hardware and software products to prepare upgrade plans in agreement with the ICT department responsible for application management. Identifying, defining, and coordinating actions necessary to ensure data center system security, measuring effectiveness through appropriate metrics. Acting as a resolver in case of incidents related to the relevant area. Supporting and collaborating with the entire ICT department for project activities or service requests involving the relevant area. Interfacing with members of other company departments to obtain suitable services for the managed data centers (e.g., electrical continuity, HVAC, etc.). Defining, developing, and documenting operational procedures for the relevant area. Preparing technical specifications necessary to initiate project activities. Performing follow-ups on data center projects throughout their lifecycle (market scouting, budget estimation, design, procurement and delivery process, UAT, operation).

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical disciplines in the information sector. At least 10 years of experience in similar roles in medium or large-sized structured companies. In-depth technical knowledge of (in order of priority):

• VM-Ware platform and related advanced functions/configurations;

• Microsoft server architectures and Microsoft domains;

• Administration of Microsoft Office365 and Azure tenants; • Data and application backup systems;

• RedHat and Unix-based operating systems;

• Oracle and SQL database knowledge;

• Techniques and methodologies that enhance system resilience (e.g., High Availability, Disaster Recovery, etc.);

• Client fleet management systems (SCCM and WSUS); Basic knowledge and sensitivity in the field of cybersecurity. ITIL certification or other relevant certifications related to the listed technical areas are desirable. Knowledge of SAP architecture and SAP basis concepts is desirable.
