Overview

Axient is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.

Responsibilities

Support our Redstone Arsenal (RSA) customer as part of a software development team working in diverse software development disciplines including Client/Server, Tablet, 3D visualization, GPS tracking, Database integration, and 3D printing

  • Develop innovative applications for providing situational awareness during system test events using C# development language
  • Support multiple existing software applications
  • Execute problem definition and solution development
  • Perform systems analysis of user application environment
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline
  • Experience with C#, C++, Java
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Security clearance
  • Excellent customer interface and communications skills, written and verbal
  • Willingness to travel, up to 20%
  • DoD Secret Clearence

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3D game development
  • GUI Development
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment
