Job Description:

  • The Power Electronics Engineer supports the development and test of power electronics design and the Electric Propulsion Units.

Responsibilities:

  • Be involved in power electronics engineering activities to develop, integrate, and qualify our electric propulsion systems.
  • Use power electronics engineering skills to analyze existing circuits and assist in test and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support electrical stress analysis and reliability calculations activities
  • With supervision, select and recommend components and topologies for inverter applications
  • Follow established practices for recording BOM and configuration changes for engineering prototype hardware

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • 5+ years of related experience

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience with a broad array of engineering tools/languages, including SPICE and MATLAB
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with others
