The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer – Air Combat Concepts, Requirements and Integration to join the team developing the Boeing Airpower Teaming System (ATS). The role engages with air combat specialists to investigate and define future operating concepts for the ATS as well as working with other systems and software engineers in supporting mission systems integration for demonstration activities. This role is Brisbane based with occasional domestic travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of concepts documents as they pertain to 5th/6th generation air combat
  • Development of product roadmaps and requirements descriptions
  • Development of engineering documentation and configuration management of system engineering artefacts

Experience/Qualifications

  • Qualifications in engineering and/or equivalent technical experience in air combat operations (RPEQ &/or CPEng desirable)
  • Experience with systems engineering practices and tools – specifically in requirements distillation and capture
  • Exposure and experience with modern avionics systems, tactical data links and their integration
  • Exposure and experience with modelling/simulation tools
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
