Job Description
Create something new: Together with your team, you develop and drive the product vision and strategy of abrasives solutions for Aerospace, Building Interior & Automotive (ABA) applications.
Take responsibility: You drive the business value for the products assigned to your team through active life-cycle-management and backlog prioritization, in accordance with the overall business strategy of the Business Team.
Use your creativity: As a functional leader, you inspire the ABA Product Managers and Application Engineers to come up with the best possible solutions, merging user needs and business sense.
Cross-functional teams: In the sometimes crowded working environment of agile teams, you bring clarity to the tasks at hand via pro-active alingment of involved parties and by empowering the team to make the relevant decisions on task-level
Qualifications
Experience and knowledge:
- In-depth Product and Portfolio Management expertise
- >5 years of relevant Product Management experience in abrasive solutions, industrial products or FMCG
- preferably previous leadership experience in an agile setting
- Experience with agile methods such as design thinking or scrum
Personality: you show high result-orientation, willingness to take decisions based on solid analytical and planning skills
Enthusiasm: Ability to coach and lead the Team through strong communication, and to inspire them with your ideas and by establishing a feedback and positive failure culture
Education: You have successfully completed academic studies in a technical or commercial area
Languages: Fluent in English, knowledge in other languages (especially German) would be a bonus
