Short description

Capgemini Engineering is looking for Java Backend Developers throughout Italy.

The resources will be involved in the following activities for our customers in the Automotive, Aeronautics, Space, Defence, Railways, Industrial, Telco & Media markets:

Analysis, design and implementation of software based on Enterprise and Cloud architectures
Analysis, writing and implementation of functional and technical requirements
Software design and development
Your profile
The ideal candidates have a specialist degree in scientific disciplines such as engineering, mathematics, information technology, physics . Applications will also be considered from graduates who have gained experience on the required knowledge and have gained at least 1 year of professional experience.

Requirements

Fundamental requirements:

Excellent knowledge of Java, Spring, SpringBoot
Excellent knowledge of Git, Maven, REST and SOAP
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud services
Cassandra experience and non-relational DB
Knowledge of Scrum/Kanban
Strong problem solving skills related to the achievement of the result
Excellent knowledge of the English language
Propensity for mobility.
The following will also be positively evaluated:

Knowledge of DevOps, related methodologies and main tools
Knowledge of Cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Knowledge of the functioning of the main servers (Apache, Tomcat, Wildfly, Nodejs, ActiveMQ, Kafka, …)
Use of Framework BE (Spring, Hibernate,…) and FE (Angular, React, Vue, …)
Use of orchestration platforms and services (OpenShift, Rancher, Google GKE, Amazon EKS…).
