YOUR TASKS
- Conceptualize, design, plan & realize composite production systems
- Specify, plan and manage projects with regular customer interaction
- Implement cost-effective, state-of-the-art automation components into our production systems
- Perform studies & tests to ensure a high machine reliability
- Work closely with our robotics & control engineers
- Coordinate and execute commissioning of our systems with suppliers and on customer site (this position involves international travel)
- Organize procurement and negotiate with suppliers
- Perform technical analyses and troubleshooting
- Generate & maintain technical drawings and machine documentation
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience, ideally in the design & development of machinery in aerospace
- Proficient in the use of CAD design tools, preferably Autodesk Inventor
- Experience in commissioning of automation systems, failure analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience with risk analysis, machine safety & CE certification
- Experience in project management
- A plus: Experience with PDM / PLM software
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Self-motivated and positive personality
- Well organized and structured work style
- Willingness to travel worldwide
