Mission

We are looking for a Cyber-security engineer to join CNES through an exceptional system: you will be based in Kourou for the first 3 years then in Toulouse at the end of this mission, on a position similar (CDI with CNES mobility agreement). During these three years in Kourou, you will benefit from many advantages.

You will join a team of 3 engineers in charge of the establishment’s information systems security and you will report directly to the head of the Information Systems Security Antenna (ASSI).

You are in charge of the risk analyzes carried out during the implementation of new systems and the definition of the requirements to be implemented by the projects in development to comply with the CNES Security Policy.

You are also required to assess the security flaws of future systems under development and propose the associated means of protection.

On your perimeter, you are the privileged point of contact for the technical services of the base and the industrialists in co/subcontracting on the site.

Once your accreditation has been acquired, you will perform the function of Cipher Officer on launch campaigns (management of the codes which encrypt the Onboard – Ground connection between the remote control means and the launcher). For this, you will follow specific training that will give you the basics of the regulations applicable in the field, and you will be trained by mentoring on this operational position.

You will quickly become the team’s referent on one or more technical themes (for example certain technical systems of the launch base), which will allow you to fully understand future technical developments. from a cyber-security angle when they arise.

Finally, you contribute to the proper functioning of the SSI antenna: technical management of tools, awareness-raising actions for employees, configuration management of classified systems, implementation of corrective measures in the event of a security incident, etc.

You will be the referent for the application of the regulatory texts applicable to Cyber-security (IGI133, II901, military programming law).

Profile

Bac+5 in IT/cyber-security with a first significant experience in the field of Information Systems Security (ISS).

Good level of English desired (B2/C1)
