Qualifications and Requirements

  • Good knowledge of electronics, in particular on characteristic parameters of components
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical components and electromechanical actuators
  • Experience in electronic assemblies and soldering process
  • Experience in the use of electronic measurement instrumentation
  • Familiarity with instrumentation and equipment used in electronic manufacturing
  • Knowledge of mechanical measurement tools
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package: Word and Excel
  • Good manual dexterity, common sense, and a good attitude for problem-solving
  • Ability to carry out operations in autonomy
  • Ability to follow complex assembly and testing procedures
  • Aptitude for organization and meticulous care of work environments
  • Ability to work in a team to achieve common goals
  • Willingness to travel for several days

Education​

Technical high school diploma, preferably electronic or electromechanical (other education also accepted if the skills listed have been acquired through hobbies or other activities)

Language

Good professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory.

We are looking for an Electronic Technician to join our Italian team. Do you wonder how would you feel knowing that you’ve built something that travels through space every time you look at the sky? Then this is the job for you. We are looking for someone with the right combination of technical knowledge and common sense to work with us in the production department. You will be involved in the operations of electronic and mechanical assembly of the flight hardware of our satellites, in the testing phases of the subsystems, in the management of the warehouse, in the acquisition of components, and in the maintenance of instrumentation and equipment

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • ​Electronic Operator
    • Assembly of printed circuit boards
    • Wiring of units containing electronic and mechanical parts
    • Component kitting
    • Testing of electronic boards
  •  Mechanical Operator
    • Assembly of precision mechanical parts
    • Use of mechanical measuring tools like calipers and torque wrenches
  • Warehouse management
    • Maintenance of the inventory and verification of incoming components
    • Warehouse organization in relation to company part lists
    • Drafting DDT and packaging for outgoing components
