What you will do:

At the macro level, this role is about understanding the company strategy and its future capability needs to identify learning priorities across our global team. On an individual level, it’s about creating learning environments where everyone can continuously develop through:

  • Building and maintaining training records (technical, management, leadership, H&S, etc)
  • Identifying opportunities for improved internal courses, training materials.
  • Building, maintaining and implementing records of expertise within the company.
  • Foster a culture of continuous, fast paced learning and development.
  • Setting up and formalising mentoring where useful.
  • Building regular internal presentations on skills and expertise.
  • Bringing in regular experts and interesting, inspiring people.
  • Building global systems to work seamlessly across all the offices

Future projects could include:

  • Identifying skills shortages and forecasting future needs aligned with company strategy.
  • Regularly reviewing progress and accomplishment of all objectives.
  • Creating and tailoring development plans for roles.
  • Understanding and accommodating different learning styles.
  • Keeping up to date on international best practice.
  • Working with universities to ensure an appropriately skilled graduate pipeline.


What you will bring:

  • An ambition to design and build a world class L&D system for a high-performance team.
  • A post grad qualification within a relevant field would be advantageous.
  • 5+ years relevant experience, or a passion to learn fast
  • Experience using cutting edge technology to build out an extraordinary learner experience.
  • Knowledge of deep technology (engineering) is highly desirable.
  • Start-up or high growth company experience would be great, but not mandatory.
