About the role
As Finance / Purchasing Officer you will be a key liaison between the Supply Chain and Finance teams to facilitate the smooth processing of Supplier invoices and payment in an efficient manner.
Your primary responsibilities will be focussed on the workflow related to purchase order creation, goods received, invoice processing and payments. This will include:
- Vendor and customer creation
- Data entry of invoices and reconciliation
- Invoice queries
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate strong organisational and problem solving skills, and the following experience:
- Accounts Payable experience, with an understanding on invoice matching, entering of invoices and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of the work-flow related to Purchase Order creation, Goods Received, invoice processing and payments.
- Purchasing Order knowledge (desirable)
