 Job Description

Position Overview:

The Project Manager is a member of the Project Management Team. It is a fast paced and growing division with the EOS Defence Systems organisation with the successful Project Manager being responsible for one or more projects as directed and may manage a small team.

Primary Duties:

  • Manage projects and co-ordinate a range of internal stakeholders to ensure that all deliverables are on time, in budget and technically correct within scope.
  • Support the assessment of resource requirements and the allocation of resources for specific elements of the projects.
  • Ensure that governance, project planning, monitoring and reporting provides accurate information to enable the VP Programs to assess project performance.
  • Deliver configuration control and compliance ensuring supporting company documentation is accurate and current. 
  • Undertake liaison and relationship management with EOS customers and strategic partners necessary to deliver the projects including engagement in key or targeted customer activities.
  • Participate in the preparation of tenders and proposals and the negotiation in relation to the contract.
  • Participate in the development of specialist project management technical papers relating to the delivery of EOS technology and capabilities

Experience

  • Five or more years’ experience in project management is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Defence Industry acquisition and procurement is highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in project management are desirable.
