Position Overview

The Project Controller will support EOS Space Systems Project Managers with the establishment and monitoring of projects. The incumbent will work across several projects to establish and ensure adherence to schedules, budgets and resourcing plans. The Project Controller will work with members of the broader project teams to ensure status reporting is conducted frequently and accurately.

Primary Duties

  • Support Project Managers to establish projects and monitor their success by maintaining project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
  • Develop and update project schedules in collaboration with the project teams.
  • Monitoring of financial actuals and forecasts against the approved project budget.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Monitor the allocation of resources across projects.
  • Facilitate planning activities as required.
  • Develop required reporting to provide visibility of current status to Project Managers and senior leadership.

About You

To be successful in the role you will be organised and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will work cooperatively with teams and individuals and strive to achieve results and solutions for the business. We are also looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience on complex projects within the Defence and/or Space sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional or other scheduling tool.
  • Previous experience in schedule development and analysis, cost analysis, budget management and accrual accounting.
  • Experience in tracking resources utilisation across several competing projects.
  • Experience producing financial reports and updating forecasts.
