We’re looking for a top-tier space system engineer to design and build our latest generation satellites. You are going to coordinate the work of a brilliant engineering team on a system level and help us expand our satellite capabilities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (MIN 3-4 YRS.)

  • Parametric design and systems modeling/system decomposition skills
  • Good knowledge of Embedded Software Development
  • Experience with communication interfaces on hardware/electronics level
  • Degree on Space Systems Engineering (optimal) or Space Engineering background
  • Good knowledge & proven experience with space testing and qualification standards (in particular GEVS and ECSS)
  • Previous experience with the integration of nanosatellites/microsatellites
  • Project and product management experience
  • True problem-solving mindset – even in the hardest of times, make things happen!
  • Flawless communication and teamwork

 

DESIRABLE (BONUS) EXPERIENCE:

  • Great debugging skills, not afraid to dive deep in simulated, semi-simulated, duplicated systems and code
  • Organized mind, capable of fast-paced learning
  • Fast reaction
  • Excessive attention to details
  • Ability to use hardware schematics and MCU/peripheral datasheets as input for firmware development

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and decompose satellite mission requirements into mechanical, hardware, and software requirements
  • Plan and manage spacecraft integration and testing activities
  • Define spacecraft operational modes and requirements
  • Prepare spacecraft system-level documentation and guides
  • Define and implement risk mitigation strategies
