 Job Description

Position Overview:

EOS Defence Systems is a leading provider of Remote Weapon Station, Sensor and Gimbal Control technology.  The company conducts much of its promotion and customer engagement by means of small-scale development activities and demonstrations with customers and industry partners.  Successful development activities and demonstrations frequently lead to larger, customer funded, development activities or volume sales.  Managing these activities and demonstrating good performance has been key to EOS’s success in international markets.  The ultimate aim of these activities is to position EOS Defence Systems as a responsive. world leading advanced technology provider who can be relied on to deliver value for money products on time and to budget.

In this role, you will be responsible for liaising with customers and partners to determine the scope and requirements of an opportunity including relevant technical, commercial, and support requirements. You will then initiate activities that will either be managed internally by the BD team or be passed on to program, commercial and/or engineering teams for detailed management and further development.

Primary Duties:

  • Identify product and business development opportunities that provide customers and partners exposure to EOS products and technical capability.
  • Provide commercial and programmatic guidance to the initiation of Business Development activities.
  • Implement and manage program initiatives, as approved by VP BD – Global, in order to position EOS Defence Systems as a world leading advanced technology provider.
  • Assist Vice President Business Development undertake customer engagement in order to promote new and existing EOS Defence Systems product lines.
  • Assist with the development of bids and proposals.

Experience

  • Previous experience managing programs and teams
  • Previous experience in the international Defence Industry space
  • Familiarity with different customer/client commercial environments spanning private and government sectors and the ability to influence and/or establish workable partnerships and other commercial arrangements in conjunction with other business leads
