About the Opportunity
The Electronics Support Technician is a member of the Electronic Design Group, with recognised experience and knowledge in the field of electronics assembly and repair. They provide support to the electronics group building electronic assemblies as well as assisting in the drafting of build/manufacturing documentation for production release. Key duties include:
- Assemble circuitry for engineering prototype and pre-production assemblies, including circuit board integration with mechanical housings, wiring loom preparation, and circuit testing.
- Assist as required with integration of opto-mechanical and electronic subassemblies. This may require training, and may involve assistance to production teams or engineering teams.
- Document new details of assemblies, including loom lengths, circuit changes and best mechanical placements.
You will be a detail oriented problem solver and can work collaboratively with others. You demonstrate sound pragmatism and judgement. It is preferred that you have 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
