Job Description

About the Opportunity

The Lead Project Manager is responsible for a small Project Management Team within the EOS Communication Systems division. The Lead Project Manager coordinates and actively participates in the project management aspects of EOS Communication Systems tender responses for large and complex projects.   This position is responsible for the coordination and on-time completion of tender documents, and is responsible for one or more projects.

Primary duties include:

  • Oversee the project management aspects of complex tender responses
  • Actively participate in writing, formatting and reviewing complex tender responses
  • Actively participate in the development of win themes for EOS tender responses
  • Ensure win themes are captured and expressed throughout the relevant Project Management sections of tender responses
  • Ensure all deliverables are on time, technically correct and within scope.
  • Support the assessment of resource requirements and the allocation of resources for specific elements of the projects.
  • Co-ordinate internal stakeholders including Commercial, Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support, Legal and Financial groups to ensure milestones are achieved within time constraints.
  • Ensure that project planning, monitoring and reporting provides accurate information to enable the Capture Manager to assess bid response performance.

About You

You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to perform in a deadline driven environment. You have the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines, and a strong attention to detail. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in Defence acquisition and procurement is highly desirable.
  • Experience with ASDEFCON Strategic contracts is highly desirable
  • Five or more years’ experience in project management is highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in project management are desirable.
