About the Opportunity
The Risk Officer is responsible for providing expertise in the delivery of reliable, accurate, timely and well-informed advice to internal stakeholders in the identification and management of enterprise wide operational risks. Working across the organisation, this role will ensure the ongoing execution of EOS’s risk strategy and initiatives. Your primary duties will include:
- Management of the risk framework on a daily basis;
- Drafting and managing all risk artefacts;
- Conducting and documenting monthly risk assessments and workshops with executive and staff;
- Testing of controls;
- Drafting reports for internal Management and Board Committees;
- Providing risk training to staff;
- Promote and build a positive assurance culture within EOS.
You are detail and solution oriented, with an analytical approach. You have strong communication and presentation skills, and are able to work collaboratively with others. You can manage priorities and meet tight deadlines. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
