Provide technological and commercial contribution in activities related to development of new products, services, applications, and solutions for Organization to commercialize. Conduct thorough technical feasibility studies as well as contribute to assess commercial viability of products and services in coordination with Marketing, Sales and Technical teams.


New Services Planning and Recommendations

Conduct system and customer/service requirements analysis and calculations; and identify capacity requirements. Advise Sales on solutions that are easily implemented, cost effective and technically viable. Contribute to the assessment of commercial feasibility of new services. Develop KA band applications in broadcasting and broadband data distribution. Study new service proposals / requirements and recommend technical and commercial feasibility.

Technical assistance

  • Assist Sales develop technical and programmatic proposals for potential customers.
  • Develop partnerships with end-user terminal/equipment manufacturers and integrators.
  • Provide technical assistance to Marketing to enhance product promotion and provide key selling points from a technical perspective. Provide post launch support for product and services as required to ensure product/services continuity and relevance in market

Market Research

  • Assist Marketing to conduct market research and technology evaluations to identify applied solutions and prepare recommendation to management

Internal Liaison and collaboration

  • Maintain close liaison with Marketing, Technical, and Sales teams to develop and roll out new products, services and solutions

Policies and Procedures

  • Recommend improvements to product development policy and implement procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in line with best practice.

Continuous Improvement

  • Provide inputs and suggestions for the continuous improvement of Es’hailSat products and services taking into account ‘best practice’, changes in international standards, and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.

Management Reports

  • Assist with accurate Management reports and provide timely feedback to the Manager, PD on new product development initiatives.


  1. BEng Electrical/Electronic or Telecom Engineering or equivalent degree.
  2. Certification on relevant functionally related training programs covering Satellite technology, Broadcast services, VSAT, Telecommunications services, product development, etc.
  3. 5 to 7 years’ experience in satellite communications and system calculations
  4. Knowledge of types of services and techniques relating to the job (calculations, assignments etc.)
  5. KA band experience is a plus
  6. In-depth understanding of satellite communications, satellite link analysis, etc.
  7. Knowledge of satellite designs and limitations
  8. Working knowledge of satellite analysis tools
