About The Position
You will be part of the Space Policy team and be expected to carry out a variety of tasks. Responsibilities include:
- Quantifying and analyzing government space programs (strategy, policy and budget), which involves working with excel databases and formulas;
- Contributing to space Market Intelligence activities on a variety of topics including space exploration, smallsats, earth observation, satellite communications, ground segment, space value chain, etc.;
- Carrying out desk research and analyzing space sector topics, including satellite communications, Space Situational Awareness, space economy, space technology, launch vehicles, space exploration, and more;
- Attending space-related conferences and events and creating briefs (AI, cybersecurity, innovation, R&D, space debris, space situational awareness, drones, 5G, Internet of Things…)
- Depending on skillset, contributing to consulting missions, covering the following areas: socio-economic impact assessments, space policy and strategy assessments, market assessments, legal / regulatory analysis, technology roadmaps, space industry topics, and more;
- Other tasks as required by the team.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Education: Master’s Degree in space/aeronautics, economics, law, public policy, engineering, or related.
- Space experience is highly recommended. A minimum of one previous experience in the space sector and/or academic background in the space sector is required.
- Languages: Strong English skills (spoken and written) are mandatory; a second language (ideally French) is considered an asset
- Personal skills: ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced international and multicultural environment, a self-starter and a team player, respect of corporate values, strong professional commitment.
- Other skills: Competent with Microsoft office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word…)
- Previous work experience is an asset, either in the consulting, academic and/or space sector
