Exotrail is an end-to-end space mobility operator. We design, develop and sell mobility solutions for an agile space.

Our mission is to allow satellites to move in space, so that we can optimise their deployment, increase their service performances and reduce space pollution. Thanks to it, a new world of telecommunication, earth observation, space logistic and exploration will arise.

  • To define accurately their mobility need with our collaborative, intuitive mission and system design software ExoOPS™ – Mission Design
  • To solve this mobility need with our high-thrust, flexible propulsion systems ExoMG™ and our in-space transportation and logistics services with our SpaceVan™ vehicle
  • To operate the solution with our “flight dynamics-inside” constellation operation automation software ExoOPS™ – Operations

  • Our team is expanding quickly and consists, as of today, of +60 people who are passionate about disrupting the space industry. We operate out of two locations: Toulouse and Massy (suburb of Paris).

Job Description

  • Exotrail thrusters are build of modules, among which, the fluidic module.
  • You will be in charge of the development of the fluidic module.

Your main responsabilities will be to:

  • Act as a component and system level lead engineer and fluid system expert on several product development topics,
  • Work in the product development team to develop fluid systems and subsystems for our Exotrail products,
  • Plan and execute custom components development and acceptance/qualification tests,
  • Manage the supply of the fluidic module components for R&D needs, from the research for suppliers to the order.

Preferred Experience

Required qualification:

  • Master’s degree in Fluidic/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
  • 3+ years of professional experience working with propulsion/fluid systems
  • Experience working with common fluid system components valves, regulators, pressure transducers and tanks
  • Hands on/lab experience with fluid systems,
  • Able to solve complex problems in autonomy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practical experience with fluid fittings
  • Basic knowledge of satellite subsystems and operations
  • Previous startup or small company experience
  • Proficiency with CAD software (Inventor, etc.)
  • Fluidic simulations (COMSOL, etc.)

  • 39h / week with 25+8 days off
  • Permanent contract
  • Position based in Massy (91)
  • Start as soon as possible
  • English level: B2 or similar
