Firehawk Aerospace, a propulsion-focused aerospace and defense company based in the Dallas, TX area, is undergoing expansion and is seeking a Fluid Systems Engineer. The right candidate will work in an integrated team of designers and analysts in development of next-generation rocket propulsion systems and test facilities.
Desired qualifications include:
- Experience in aerospace ground or flight systems
- Technical problem solving and critical thinking
- Familiarity with component sourcing and selection
- Proficiency in internal and external flow analysis
- Proficiency in fluid and pressure systems design
- Working knowledge of office and productivity software (Office, JIRA, Confluence, etc)
- Working knowledge of relevant specialty software, such as- Fluent, PTC Creo, AFT Arrow and AFT Fathom
- Eligibility to work in ITAR/EAR environments
