Company Details

Spiral Blue is an Australian startup company on their way to becoming the Australian market leader in processing of Earth observation (EO) satellite imagery. In particular, on-orbit processing via the Space Edge Computer. Three Space Edge Computers are currently in orbit, with another launch scheduled on a SpaceX Falcon 9 later this year. Cobalt, our web access portal, recently went live with customers. We are looking for an enthusiastic front end developer so that together, we can design and build the next generation satellite image analytics platform!

The Role

Spiral Blue is looking for a full time, junior front-end developer to work on Cobalt – our satellite tasking and analytics website. The successful candidate will support and maintain Cobalt. The website includes user accounts, interactive maps, file uploads and downloads, and dashboards.

This junior role will initially be a support and maintenance role, under the supervision of an experienced front end developer. Our intention is for the role to grow to one of product owner, where new features are implemented, and partly directed by you. Prior experience or education is a must but growth within the role is expected. Work hours are flexible, and work from home arrangements are available.
