Job Description Summary

In this role you will be responsible for executing, designing and updating test procedures for Navigation and Guidance systems and/or sub-components,in a global Software Engineering organization in across- functional and multicultural environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support Design and implementation of Embedded Software and Software Requirements verification in a cross-function environment.
  • Consistently develop and document code and test procedures , interpret results and use best practices with guidance.
  • Effectively communicate/provide presentations in project communication rhythm, such as weekly status meetings, SCRUM meetings, progress reports and retrospectives.
  • Self-aware of assignments on time delivery.
  • Support execution of efficiency or productivity opportunities.
  • Consistent understanding of the overall product functionality and technical basis of operation.
  • Understand key elements of digital electronics, systems engineering, software methodologies and avionics.

Required Qualifications

  • Skilled in more than one of the stages of the Software Development Life Cycle is needed for the position.
  • Skilled in Programming Languages and Object Oriented Programming.
  • Solid Knowledge of Embedded Software Development using C or Ada programming languages.
  • Able to understand and apply engineering requirements.
  • Understand Software Validation and Verification principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Executes tasks with supervision.
  • Legal Right to Work in Mexico.
  • This role requires basic experience in the Engineering/Technology & Embedded SW Development. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree on Computer Systems Engineering, Mechatronics or Electronics.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college on Computer Systems Engineering, Mechatronics or Electronics.

Desired Characteristics

  • Previous experience on SW Development for automotive or aerospace industries.
  • Self Learning and Curiosity.
  • Familiarized with DO-178C.Knowledge of SW Project Management methodology(Agile, Waterfall).
