Our teams in the space sector are looking for interns to start their career development with us, participating in Space Debris projects.

We´ll get to the point; we’ll tell you what’s not on the web.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

Two-Line Elements (TLE) are publicly available information on the space objects that orbit around the Earth. It’s widely known that they are not very accurate. Some previous works have been developed to try and characterize that. We’re here interested in the development of a method based on the analysis of the TLEs catalogue via “pair-wise differencing” methods.

In our team you will develop the method for TLEs uncertainty computation, Test the method over a reduced list of “known” objects, and Try and apply it to the whole catalogue of objects.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for an aerospace engineering student (or equivalent) with curiosity for the SW development, conscientious and methodic.

It is required advanced knowledge in  Space Dynamics, Applied mathematics and physics, and Parallel algorithm analysis and development.

We will also value knowledge in object-oriented SW development,  Java (basic/medium) or another programming languages (Python, MATLAB, C…).

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

🕑 Total flexibility to be able to combine the internship with your studies. Your graduation is important!
