The manufacturing engineering team is now looking for an Operational Manager with a hands-on approach to join our exciting journey facing the challenges of tomorrow’s satellite missions.

A new position with the responsibility of development and the daily operation in a strong manufacturing team

The requirements for products, processes, test equipment and quality control are becoming more complex. The purpose of this new position is to establish a professional manufacturing engineering department including the final assembly and test of spacecrafts. The reasoning behind this is to ensure that we continuously develop its manufacturing competencies to meet current and future customer requirements.

We give you the opportunity to be responsible for a dedicated team, aiming at providing exceptional Nanosatellite solutions to customers on the global market. The team is a part of the Manufacturing Engineering and Spacecraft Assembly, which includes in total 7 skilled engineers and technicians working with Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Product Maintenance and Support, Assembly Integration and Verification (AIV) of satellites.

Operational level with a hands-on approach

You will be reporting to the Chief Manufacturing Officer (CMO) and will be responsible for securing that customer requirements are incorporated and implemented into all manufacturing processes. The goal is to ensure failure free production by translating design documentation into production processes and documentation.

This includes different areas of coordination and management, for instance:

  • Production support.
  • Production equipment.
  • New product introduction.
  • Production process.
  • Technical BID process.
  • Non-comformance (NC).
  • AIV.

Experienced technician within production and equipment

You hold a technical education, probably on bachelor level or similar. You have several years of experience from a similar technical position within the electronics industry and maybe you have experience as a manager. You have experience with production facilities, and the equipment in a production of high reliability products. Furthermore, you have a strong knowledge of production processes in an electronic production and equipment/instrument management.

As a person, you are a great coordinator and a natural team player, and you enjoy working in a busy and sometimes hectic work environment. You encourage teamwork and supports your employees in creating solid and extraordinary results.

You have a proactively way of working with a quality-oriented mindset to deliver results. To add, you are organized, structured and process-oriented and used to work with complex issues without losing track.

Moreover, you will be working closely together with all of our other departments, so you navigate naturally in a cross-disciplinary environment.

Through your empathy and outgoing behaviour, you communicate naturally with all levels in an organization. You speak Danish and English on a professional level.
