WHO WE ARE
Hisdesat Servicios Estratégicos S.A. born in 2001 as a government satellite services operator to act primarily in the areas of defense, security, intelligence and foreign affairs. Since 2005 we provide secure satellite communications services to government agencies in different countries and since September 2018, we also offer Earth Observation services (radar technology). This service offer also includes the information capabilities of maritime satellite traffic (AIS).
THE ROLE
The tasks would include but not be limited to:
- Managing the requests for images, scheduling their acquisition on the satellite, and downloading them to different ground stations.
- Monitoring the process of planning, executing, and downloading the images on the satellite, as well as their processing and distribution to customers. Generating added value products associated with the images.
- Verifying the configuration and operation of the control center systems involved in management of the images.
- Analyzing the performance of the satellite’s Payload and the quality of the products.
- Developing useful tools in operating the satellite’s data and the Payload.
MINIMUM STUDIES
- Graduate in Aerospace/Telecommunications
- Knowledge of the space sector.
- Knowledge of Python programming
- High level of English.
- Own vehicles
