Job Description

Position Summary: 

An Electrical Engineering Technician will help develop and support testing for various projects with the Electrical Engineering team. They will also help take ownership of the Schematic and PCB Libraries.

Responsibilities:

  • Soldering and PCBA assembly and rework
  • Harness assembly and rework
  • General knowledge of electronics test equipment: Oscilloscope, DMM, Function Gen, etc.
  • Ownership and support of electronics test lab and equipment
  • Board and system test and debug
  • Electronics test support: EMI/EMC
  • Test set development
  • Support Engineering team in various projects

Required Experience, Skills and Education:

  • US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)
  • 2+ years working in an engineering field and/or precision electrical assembly environment
  • Hands-on experience with electronic hardware
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and machining is a plus.
  • Quality systems, procedures and processes
  • Space hardware development and test experience is a plus
  • Aerospace Workmanship Standards: J-STD-001 Space Addendum, NASA STD 8739.1, and 8739.4 is a plus
