Job Description

Honeybee Robotics seeks an accomplished professional for the position of Government Pricing Manager, reporting to the Director of Finance, located in Longmont, CO.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain pricing models to ensure a consistent and accurate approach to the pricing of proposals, in conjunction with pricing analyst reports.
  • Generate and present pricing presentations for kickoff, strategy, and reviews with the proposal team and senior executives.
  • Lead the financial review and approve all proposals.
  • Work with the proposal team to coordinate price negotiations.
  • Recommend strategic pricing strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain forward pricing rates.
  • Develop and deliver business-wide government pricing and compliance training.
  • Analyze actual vs. forward pricing rate variances and recommend forward pricing rate updates.
  • Ensure adequate gross margin and compliance with government accounting procedures.
  • Prepare final overhead rates.
  • Ensure compliance with CAS disclosure statement.
  • Lead support for DCAA and DCMA audits.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5+ years of finance and accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of pricing experience for a government contractor.
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-orientated, with the ability to multi-task, and have demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excels in a dynamic, ever-changing work environment.
  • Ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cost accounting standards.

Compensation:

Salary range: $123,000 – $155,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
