Legal trainee for administrative or elective station

The examination boards of the Bremen University of Applied Sciences deal with legal aspects relating to examination law as well as related matters arising from the Bachelor and Master examination regulations. You are responsible for the organization, implementation and review of examinations, compensation for disadvantages and other questions relevant to the exams from teachers and students. The examination office supports the administrative tasks of the examination boards.

In Faculty 1, the examination boards currently look after around 4,000 students. We are looking for an interested legal trainee with an interest in examination law and legal research for further administrative, teaching and research tasks in higher education as soon as possible.

Your tasks

You are interested in administrative work in the preparation and implementation of examination-relevant decisions, as well as in teaching and research activities. The content of your tasks is the processing of mainly administrative, but also civil law issues in the form of brief reports, documentation of consultations, supportive advice in all matters of students and teachers, support in teaching and research activities, planning and support of information events, student administration, data maintenance and preparation of notices.

  • Completed first state examination in law
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Analytical understanding
  • Confident in handling all MS Office applications
  • Interest in public law, especially university law
