The Role:

We are expanding our operations in the US including satellite manufacturing, operations, Sales and Information technology teams.. To support the growth of the company we are now looking for a Senior Network Engineer to be based in Orange County, California.

The Senior Network Engineer (NE) is responsible for architecting, delivering, safeguarding, and supporting a global infrastructure within the following core functions: LAN/WAN/WLAN, internet, remote access, firewalls, proxy, DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), NAC, business partner access, and AWS Govcloud-based networking implementations. The Network Engineer will be deploying, managing, and ensuring stability of the local/wide area network infrastructure technologies to provide high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability to effectively and efficiently support mission critical business systems. Demonstrates a high level of competence in routing and switching platforms, troubleshooting critical issues, and coordination of implementation.
This role is an incredibly unique opportunity to be part of the ICEYE US manufacturing startup phase.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
  • Document IT Procedures and Processes. From software deployment to hardware installation.
  • Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices
  • Monitor network performance and integrity
  • Research, design, and test complex wide-area computer networks to include both hardware and software.
  • Hardware experience should include, but is not limited to, routers, switches, servers, firewall, inline encryptors, and modems.
  • Strong experience in AWS GOVCloud Services
  • Install and maintain various tools and systems in the AWS environment.
  • Be able to maintain a hybrid server network environment, Cloud based and onsite hardware.
  • Tracking the vulnerable scripts to avert the potential threats
  • Generating and maintaining the virtual private network, firewalls, web protocols and email security decorum.
  • Monitoring of web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, endpoint security

Required Background & Skills to be Successful:

  • US Citizen
  • Possess a TS/SCI Clearance or ability to receive one
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or related field, preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience must include, but is not limited to, troubleshooting and configuring AWS Govcloud, Routers, Firewalls, and Switches.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office, Google G Suite and AWS Cloud tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Familiar with a range of software and hardware
  • Strong Documentation skills for IT procedures and processes.
  • Based in Orange County, CA facility
