About the Role

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to lead the technical development of our Servicer spacecraft, Endurance.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead the complete technical development of a new spacecraft for Life Extension.
  • Work closely with the CTO and the Product Owner to finalise design trade-offs and setup the industrial consortium.
  • Make design decisions and provide justification.
  • Apply wisely the right standards to ensure safety and reliability of the mission while maintaining a NewSpace approach.
  • Lead Technology Maturation toward the PDR and CDR of the spacecraft.
  • Coordinate with engineering team in the development phase, including ground and operations team.


Base requirements:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering
  • At Least 5 years of experience in the European Space Industry
  • MBSE/INCOSE/SE Qualification
  • Experience in Requirement Management, Flight System Architecture, ECSS Standards
  • Knowledge of spacecraft subsystems and space environment
  • Knowledge of AOCS & GNC, Navigation techniques and Control theory
  • Knowledge of Flight Dynamics and Flight Software
  • Initiative, Enthusiasm & Precision
  • Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of professional experience
  • Previous experience in technical development in ESA project
  • Fluency in French, Spanish or German is considered a plus
