Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. The activity of NAS domain: avionics, navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.
Integration & Testing Stream Leader and Lean Correspondent Level 2.
Manage Integration & Testing activities for the Italian manufacturing plant, implementing Lean practices, in coordination with Business Segment international organization.
The Integration & Testing Stream Leader and Lean Correspondent Level 2 will cover as head of production the following domains:
- Shop floor management
- Production Control
- Production Process & Technology Engineering
In this role he/she will have to manage a team composed of 20 persons spread over these 3 domains and will ensure all the relevant management activities to fit with the production plan targets (On cost, On quality, On time).
The candidate shall be experienced in overall Supply Chain topics, in order to consolidate inter-relationship with complementary Industrial team and stakeholders.
In his/her role of Lean Correspondent Level 2 for the local industrial organization, the candidate will be in charge of lean deployment, participating to the construction of the Lean approach, ensuring methodological support of operational teams and animating Lean dynamic through coaching and communication. He/she is a change leader.
The candidate will have to drive the lean improvement projects in coordination with Thales Italy Lean Organization functionally reporting to the Lean Correspondent Level 1 part of Thales Italy organization.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- The candidate must have a sound track experience (min. 5 years) in production management & Lean projects implementation within preferably electronics, automotive, mechanical environments.
- We are looking for a candidate who is able to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and who is also able to federate teams and drive consensus in a transversal dynamic.
- Performing in international environment shall be part of candidate’s skills both for liaison with foreign counterparts as well as dealing with internal Customers located in different region of the world.
- Italian : native language – English : good knowledge
