Software Engineer -IoT Device
Description
LocationMind is a venture from the Shibasaki laboratory of the University of Tokyo, which has been conducting front-line research in the field of spatial information engineering, and is a company aiming to implement location information technology in society. By combining GPS positioning information and positioning information from IoT devices, we provide advanced people flow analysis information and provide solutions that are useful for traffic volume surveys, urban development, facility management, etc. Design, development and evaluation of IoT devices for the purpose of developing signal certification GNSS receivers and acquiring location information.
Requirements
-Experience designing software using programming languages such as C/C++ -Experience using embedded platforms such as Raspberry Pi, ESP32 -Experience designing and evaluating IoT devices -Communication standards such as WiFi, BLE, UWB, LoRaWAN Knowledge and implementation experience-Network programming knowledge *No matter what industry you work in or the type of service you are involved in-Experience in software design using programming languages such as C/C++ -Working experience with embedded platforms such as Raspberry Pi, ESP32, etc. -Hands-on experience in designing and evaluating IoT devices -Knowledge and implementation experience with communication -standards such as WiFi, BLE, UWB, LoRaWAN -Knowledge of network programming *Any type of industry you work in or any type of service you have been involved in is acceptable.
Preferred Experiences
-Knowledge and experience regarding 4G/5G mobile communication system configuration and protocols – Experience in developing security systems such as encryption and electronic authentication – Experience in developing location information applications – Knowledge and experience related to GNSS – Knowledge and experience with 4G/5G mobile communication system configuration and protocols -Experience in developing security systems such as encryption and e-authentication -Experience in developing location-based applications -Knowledge and experience related to GNSS

Working Conditions
Location PMO Kanda Tsukasacho 4F, 2-8-1 Kanda Tsukasacho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo (remote work system available)
Job Type full-time employee
Work hours Full flex system, standard working hours per month: 160 hours, 2 days off per week (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays), paid vacation, 2 days of summer vacation, 5 days of year-end and New Year holidays
Probation period Yes (6 months)
