With over 120 missions under the teams’ belt and core smallsat technologies developed in-house, NanoAvionics is a go-to expert taking care of every smallsat mission-related aspect on the ground, at the launch site, and in space.
Our Software team is looking for an ADCS Engineer who knows how to develop algorithms and routines that will be deployed on the spacecraft and will make it elegantly spin on the sky’s dance floor and follow pointing commands to achieve successful mission.
AS ADCS ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
- Support existing mission operations;
- Support different activities on the ground (simulations, testing, etc.);
- Develop, implement and integrate new ADCS functionalities including determination and control algorithms;
- Proactively communicate with customers, prepare reports at different mission stages.
WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working experience with Matlab/Simulink (2-3 years)
- Experience working with control theory and/or Kalman filters (at least for 2 year)
- Knowledge of body dynamics
- Experience writing technical documentation to a high standard (at least for 1 year)
- Experience in working in ADCS / GNC related field or space industry (2 years)
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in modeling dynamic systems
- Experience in writing software in C++ (at least for 1 year)
- Experience in embedded systems
- Experience in document automation
- Data processing experience
- Knowledge of orbit dynamics
