With over 120 missions under the teams’ belt and core smallsat technologies developed in-house, NanoAvionics is a go-to expert taking care of every smallsat mission-related aspect on the ground, at the launch site, and in space.
Our Systems engineering team is looking for a Systems Engineer who will contribute to the production of various nanosats and their subsystems. As a part of this team, you would design, develop, and manage customer projects according to customer technical requirements. This position could be fully remote.
AS SYSTEMS ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
- Support mission, subsystem and spacecraft architecture design and development;
- Be involved in all aspects of mission and spacecraft design, from performing analysis and decomposition of mission, system and subsystem requirements to spacecraft integration and validation;
- Apply technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve assigned project challenges;
- Prepare project required documentation and reports to a high standard for all phases of the project;
- Attend system level design reviews, and program management reviews to assess design maturity, requirements compliance and to provide informed technical recommendations to the customer;
- Manage project internal and external interfaces (electrical, mechanical and software);
WE EXPECT YOU TO:
- Have at least 2 years’ experience
- Have bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or related field
- Have proven technical and analytical capability
- Have good communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Be detail-oriented and flexible
- Have knowledge of STK or equivalent orbital analysis tools;
- Have work experience in multiple engineering disciplines; mechanical, electrical, RF, control systems, data systems
- Be able to travel
